Tea at Auntie Monica's

These are a few photographs of my auntie and cousin. 

My Auntie Monica has always inspired me to follow my dreams and to be creative. She lives in a world full of colour and adventure. It was my auntie that inspired me to become a nurse.

Becca is an artist in many ways, she sings, plays guitar & piano, writes songs and paints. Out of all her talents her best talent is her ability to make anyone laugh. 

Charlene & Horses

This was a windy but beautiful day to spend a few hours out a still Meadows Ranch photographing Charlene and her horses. 

Rene, Flirt and Flit

It was a joy to photograph Rene and her barrel racing horses. Not only was Rene a natural to work with, but she has trained some very stunning horses.  This was a special session to me as it was my first offical photo session. Enjoy!

Welcome to Kala Rose Photography's blog!

I recently decided to go beyond just sharing my photography on a Facebook page to sharing it on my own blog. I not only want to share my photography, but keep a personal journal of the moments I have had the privilege to capture in my own life, as well as others. 

It is exciting to have these moments documented so I can reflect back on, and yes, sometimes cringe at previous works, kind of like looking back and see those old pictures of my mushroom haircut in elementary.  It gives me the opportunity to reflect upon where I was, how far I've come, and how much more is to come!

I hope you enjoy the blog and a special shout out to my friend Brie who took the time to teach me how to start my blog.  Her blog, Slice of Brie inspired me to start this page.
